The arts are a vast subdivision of culture, composed of many creative endeavors and disciplines. It is a broader term than "art", which as a description of a field usually means only the visual arts. The arts encompass visual arts, literary arts and the performing arts – music, theatre, dance and film, among others. Q. My main focus is some sort of art major. I say liberal arts, though, because I'm also interested in taking creative writing, psychology, philosophy, etc. It doesn't necessarily have to be a liberal arts college, but it must have a good art program. As many languages as possible is appreciated, too. Haha. I'm very interested in studying over sees. Germany, Japan, Russia, or Italy, preferably.
